SHORT ORAL PRESENTATIONS
The Short Oral Presentation Sessions will take place on Thursday May 14th and Friday May 15st , and will cover a wide range of topics.A total of 12 sessions have been planned with about 145 presentations. The sessions offer the opportunity to actively interact with the presenters. Short Oral Presentation Sessions will be presented orally and the PowerPoint Presentations will be available for ESPID Members on the Society website (www.espid.org) after the Meeting.
Short Oral Presentation presenters will be requested to prepare the following:
- Presenters have each been allocated 7 minutes to present in the Short Oral Presentation, which includes 4 minutes for oral presentation and 3 minutes for discussion.
- Presentations need to be prepared as PowerPoint and limited to 5 SLIDES. It is recommended to divide the slides as follows: 1 slide for Introduction,1 slides for Methods, 1-2 slides for Results and 1 slide for Conclusions.
- Presentations should be uploaded onsite in the Speakers' Ready Room at least 1 hour before the start of the session. For instructions on preparing and uploading your data presentation onsite: CLICK HERE.
- If you would like us to include your presentation on the ESPID website after the Meeting, the presenting author must sign a release form in the Speakers Ready Room, giving ESPID permission to post the presentation on the website.
Short Oral Presentation presenters will not prepare traditional printed posters and have the option of preparing E-Posters for viewing at the E-Posters viewing stations.
Important notice: Short Oral Presentation presenters are required to use a Disclosure Slide as the second slide of their presentation. The template can be downloaded here.
